Prayer for the Year of the Culture of Life Lord Jesus, King of Life,
you are the first born of all creation.
In you we move and have our being.
You alone govern us. You alone sustain us.
As we struggle today to defend life and to stand up for our faith,
we humbly prostrate before your throne
to look upon us with mercy and kindness.
We are confused of what is true. We are tied by our human needs.
And we are led to the shadows of death. |
